Good app only quirky lately (UPDATED)
I've been using this app for years and adopt information technology over competitor's offerings. I similar that notifications can be configured and received for every transaction. However within the by week or so, these notifications have been arriving very belatedly — like many hours after the transaction has occurred. East.thou. if my wife makes a purchase in the morning on her card I won't see the transaction notification until the afternoon and I have to enquire her if that was a legitimate transaction or not. It's non very helpful, please wait into why these delays are occurring.
EDIT: reduced from 5 stars to 2 stars considering the delays in the purchase notifications accept gotten absurd. I have iOS and SMS notifications enabled for purchases and both have been arriving OVER TWLEVE HOURS Afterwards the actual buy time. This is plain ridiculous. Please set!
EDIT2 (14Jan2020): OK dorsum to five stars for now! The notifications issue seems to have been resolved as the "Instant Purchase Notifications" are back to beingness "instant". Not practical for eolith business relationship holders
From what I hear this app and Uppercase One equally a whole is Amazing for credit card holders but for those that own deposit accounts this app really isn't that useful! I've been banking with Capital One for years and I can honestly say I miss a lot of the features the Capital One Wallet app used to provide. I'd honey the developers of this app to accept their deposit account holders into consideration and add features similar alerts when a deposit is made to my business relationship also as alerts when a transaction is made over a sure dollar amount. To exist clear, when I say alerts I mean actual notifications to my device sent from the app that appear on my home screen. I don't desire to take to receive alerts via text that is so outdated plus I accept enough text threads as it is between work and family. I'thousand beginning to feel like Upper-case letter One isn't interested in investing in their deposit account holders now or even in the future. I believe this company is more focused and geared towards their credit and lending services. To exist off-white Chase not only provides these bones notification services to customers but they also accept added the ability to view what yous spend money on weekly to their app. I do not want to close my accounts and become over to another banking concern because I truly bask banking with Cap. I opened an account with Capital 1 in December of 2019 to rebuild my credit and I have never been belatedly to this twenty-four hour period. Not even during a very hard time during the Pandemic, I nonetheless managed to make on time payments. I opened a quick silver account in September as an try to take more than revolving credit and try to aid my credit more. I had an issue with my bank and it caused apayments that I made to both of my Capital letter One accounts to be returned. The bank situation was resolved and My payments to both accounts were immediately paid. Capital letter One sent me an email alerting me that the payments were returned and asked me Covid was causing me to take fiscal hardship and asked me if I needed help. I didn't need help, the issue with my bank was resolved and I immediately fabricated the payment to both my accounts still non causing me to exist belatedly on payments. I learn a couple of days afterward that my accounts were both being airtight for FRAUD!! How practice you commit fraud on accounts that you make payments on monthly for about ii years. One hurts me the most in this situation is that I've worked so difficult to build my credit and Capital 1 just closes both of my accounts later sending me an email asking me if I demand assistance. Capital One closing these accounts has set me back and now I probably tin can't buy a house. I'm and then devastated! WHY SEND AN EMAIL ASKING YOUR CUSTOMER IF THEY Demand Aid WHEN You DONT Actually Mean It AND You HURT THEM INSTEAD OF HELPING THEM!!!!
